My Design “signature” words are comfortable, harmonious, fresh, classic. Fortunately, I am stimulated by many different styles and color combinations. My projects are based foremost on what a client needs or wants within the space, budget, and time constraints.

Prior to attaining ASID membership, I graduated from Florida State University with a degree in Interior Design. My first job specialty was Contract Design in High Point and Atlanta, after which I prepared and supervised the installation of furniture layouts for a major retail manufacturer’s stores. Next came the unique experience of furnishing homes, offices – even designing furniture – for a highly creative manufacturer, where I could interact daily with the craftsmen who are the real heroes of any design story. My Free-Lance career added showroom and photographic design experience to my resume.

Seventeen years ago, I joined Furnitureland South, where I am a $1.5 Million Club member. Instead of having to resort to magazine pictures, my clients can “experience” hundreds of room settings. We begin the selection process by discovering something we love for their project, and building the concept (much like completing a jigsaw puzzle). The excitement of seeing their ideas become a reality is a rewarding experience for me. Internet shopping has created the most educated and informed shoppers ever! The combination of artistic and technical skills required to successfully complete a room makes my career very gratifying and FUN!
