Tim Shepard has been a Design Consultant at Furnitureland South for four years. He has an Associate in Applied Science Degree in Interior Design from Randolph Community College. Tim’s retail experience began at JCPenney in the mid 1970′s where he was a Visual Merchandise and Advertising Manager. There he helped develop the furniture merchandising grid system that became a company standard throughout the chain.

Tim began selling furniture on a volume basis in the 1980′s. He was presented the Triad NC’s Distinguished Sales Award and has sold over $30 Million in furnishings during his career.

Tim has been happily married for 35 years, and he and his wife have two grown sons. His hobbies include traveling and gardening. He is also a lay speaker for the United Methodist Church.
