Tracy Dunn

When you ask Tracy Dunn what she likes most about being a Design Consultant at Furnitureland South, she really can’t decide because she says it’s different everyday. “I love listening to a client’s ideas for their room, and then helping them turn their vision into a reality.” She also feels that it’s important for each home to reflect the personalities of the people that live there.

When she’s working with clients, she makes sure to connect with them and to include their lifestyle in the design. “It’s important for my clients to know that I am not just a yes girl.” “I am going to give my honest opinion on what pieces and fabrics work together, but I do know that ultimately, it’s their decision and they have to love their room.”

For 15 years, Tracy has been helping Furnitureland South customers bring their projects to life. She has more than 26 years of design experience, and a passion to make sure clients know how special and unique they are to her.

What are clients saying about Tracy?

“I want you to know how much I appreciate Tracy and everyone at Furnitureland South. I lost my wife to cancer 2 years ago next month. Buying furniture was a huge step for me. I was lost amid acres of furniture. Tracy and everyone in your company made it a partnering and enjoyable step. Thank you so much.” ~ Jim B.

“Before I head “up north” for the weekend, I wanted to tell you that my dinette set arrived in perfect condition, and it looks great! When I get back next week, I’ll send a picture. Right now I don’t think I’m going to need a rug underneath, but that might change. My next project will be to get rid of my outdated kitchen lighting.

I have been so impressed with the whole Furnitureland South experience — from the moment you introduced yourself to us and through the delivery process this morning. Please let the company know that John and Alan, who had to back down my cul-de-sac to deliver, not only did a great job in setting up the furniture but exhibited that North Carolina politeness and friendliness that I see so much ‘down South.’

I have already recommended you to a friend of mine who is starting to look for new furniture and hope that I can send some business your way and wouldn’t hesitate for a second to buy furniture through you in the future. Thanks again for a job well done!”

I LOVE my adjustable bed!

I love EVERYTHING about my adjustable bed. It relieves all of the stress in my body after a long day. I can’t wait to get into bed at night! The adjustable base has zero gravity capabilities—which means that your feet & head are elevated, eliminating lower back pressure & allowing your muscles to relax! The […]

The Tribal Vibe Beats on…

Decor drawing from native cultures will continue to expand in 2012 and beyond, inspiring furnishings with a historical perspective. Glamour is Forever in Style

Think Old Hollywood style – the glamour of Bette Davis and Marilyn Monroe with the sophistication of Cary Grant and Clark Gable. This style draws greatly from the “Roaring 20’s” with lots of jazz-age sizzle. It incorporates 21st century classical styling, modern traditional styling, and a touch of glitz and glam into a nostalgic style […]

Returning from the DARK side…

During the last fifteen plus years, we have had a tidal wave of BROWN, BROWN, and BROWNER finishes in wood furniture. However, in the last two to three years, the pendulum has started swinging back to a lighter, more refreshing palette. Styles are becoming more transitional and clean in their respective design elements and origins. […]

Yesteryear comes anew…

New items do not always represent new trends. We tend to keep the best and most appealing looks from past eras. Minimalistic has become the new modern, and today’s modern draws heavily from the Mid-20th Century. This classic style is heavily influenced by Scandinavian & Art Deco designs and in fact dates all the way […]
