Distinctive Myrtle Beach Home

The owners of this stunning Myrtle Beach home, Dave and Sandra, visited Furnitureland South with designer Curtis Slade of CSI Interiors in hopes of combining Dave’s distinct sophistication with Sandra’s love for a little GLAM. Selecting pieces from a variety of manufacturers, we were able to achieve just that.

Neutral tones combined with a little sparkle and a pop of color here and there, allowed for an eclectic mix that absolutely stunned in the 2013 Tour of Homes.1

Our very first accomplishment was the living room, featuring a show stopping Marge Carson sofa as well as china cabinet that combines the depth and character of wood with the elegance of glass, and just a touch of whimsical metal work.

Lighting was also very important to this project and who better to “light up my life” than manufacturer, John Richard. Specifically, the chandelier and pendants in the kitchen really bring attention to and define the individual functional spaces.

Strangely , my pride and joy of this project is the beautiful painting featured in the dining room. After trying other pieces in the space, Dave and Sandra fell in love with this piece just in the nick of time to get it hung before guests arrived. It is truly the perfect piece for the space.

All considered, their new home came together beautifully. It was a pleasure working with Curtis to pull together spaces that have almost as much personality and their wonderful new owners.
