What’s Your Fine Furniture Style?

Every time we step into a Fine Furniture Design showroom, we fall in love. We so fondly appreciate this manufacturer’s style, construction and innovation. The last few collection debuts have been notably striking, each in its own way. This makes it easy for everyone to find a little special something they’ll love. What’s your favorite collection?

Runway

Fine Furniture Design is bringing high fashion home furnishings inspired by runways from the style capitals of the world to its Runway Collection. The 50-piece collection includes bedroom, dining room, occasional furniture, as well as coordinating upholstery.

The collection draws its inspiration from this season’s hottest fashion trends which include confident looks with exaggerated lines, metallic effects – including gold and brass – and bold, graphic prints. These trends are translated into the group through fashion-inspired design elements including jewelry-like brass hardware reminiscent of gold bangles and dramatic hoop earrings. Upholstery pieces are covered in bold, geometric fabrics and unexpected pops of color that play off of the iconic red-soled shoes that are synonymous with fashion and luxury.

Crafted of figured eucalyptus and birch solids, pieces feature a lustrous finish with high clarity and sheen. A complementary gold-tone accent finish provides a pop of color, while brass hardware and acrylic accents add the finishing touches, much like the perfect accessory or pair of shoes would complete a stylish outfit.

Veranda

VERANDA, a 53-piece collection featuring luxury lifestyle pieces for every living space, received its name from VERANDA Magazine. The collection brings together leading design trends from one of the world’s most exquisitely produced interior design magazines with the craftsmanship and quality of Fine Furniture Design.

Inspired by the latest interior design insights, these pieces combine modern functionality and scaling with the durability of Fine Furniture Armour, a water-based and stain-resistant finish. The collaboration results in a sophisticated collection that provides “livable luxury” for today’s consumers.

“Much like the pages of VERANDA magazine, which is known for highlighting the very best in classic, modern and eclectic design, the collection pays homage to traditional styling, yet features modern day necessities for how consumers live today,” said Eric Graham, president of Fine Furniture Design. “In developing the group, we aimed to appeal to consumers seeking luxurious and sophisticated furnishings that they can truly ‘live with’ in their homes.”

Esquire Home

The Esquire Home Collection, a 50-piece group featuring edgy and eclectic pieces for every living space in the home, is a handsome representation of fashion and style. The media brand’s home furnishings line brings together inspiration from the world of men’s fashion, culture and style through the iconic lens of ESQUIRE magazine with the quality and craftsmanship of Fine Furniture Design.

Encompassing a broad range of styles and materials to serve the diverse aesthetic tastes of today’s modern consumer – with just the right blend of gender-neutral design elements to broaden its appeal to both men and women alike – the collection features a balance of classic and contemporary, new and traditional, the unexpected and the exploratory to deliver substance and style for the curious, confident and cultured consumer.

“The collection pays homage to male interests through details like our British race car green finish and upholstery styles inspired by vintage sports car seats, but you’ll also see relaxed curves, unexpected twists and rounded edges carried throughout the designs, which really position the group for a co-ed environment,” said Erin Sullivan, vice president of product development for Fine Furniture Design.

“The juxtaposition between masculinity and the softer design elements create a cool and contemporary feeling – with just a bit of a retro vibe – that really make the collection special,” she continued. “There is an authenticity to it that is difficult to explain, you simply have to experience it yourself.”

Coming Soon: Quintessence

Building on the ongoing success of two best-selling collections inspired by George and Edith Vanderbilt’s grand estate in Asheville, North Carolina, Fine Furniture Design will add a third group to its Biltmore product line.

Quintessence, a modern interpretation of George Vanderbilt’s vision for the historic and legendary estate, honors what has always defined Biltmore gracious hospitality and an undeniable attention to detail yet sets the stage for a new era of consumers who value traditions and seek to create a relaxed and updated environment in their homes.

Steeped in heritage, yet geared towards a younger, more modern consumer, the 45-piece collection features bedroom, dining room, upholstery and accent furniture with two distinctive looks: a casual style, reflecting the relaxed comfort of the Observatory and Winter Garden of America’s Largest Home® and a more classic style, inspired by the traditional architecture and original furniture found throughout the estate.

“The confluence of vintage and contemporary elements in Quintessence blend seamlessly together to create an eclectic collection with pieces that look as if they were individually curated by George Vanderbilt himself throughout his world travels,” said Erin Sullivan, vice president of product development for Fine Furniture Design. “The result strikes a true balance between current trends in interior design, while still staying true to the Biltmore brand and answering the need for a traditional design aesthetic.”
