In March, Furnitureland South participated in Guildmaster Furniture’s “Show Your Stuff” display contest. The contest challenged retailers to furnish and accessorize a room with Guildmaster products, submit a photo of the room on Facebook and write a short essay about the concept behind the design.

Winners were chosen by the number of votes each entry received on Facebook. Out of over 40 entries, Furnitureland South came in ninth place. For making the top ten, Guildmaster awarded Furnitureland South $1000 in Guildmaster products, 500 trees planted in its honor and $1000 to give to Furnitureland South’s charity of choice.

Today Mrs. Stella Harris, Senior Vice President of Furnitureland South, presented the $1000 check to Captain Tony Perez of the High Point Salvation Army. The donation will be used to buy children’s books, pajamas and stuffed animals.

Furnitureland South is grateful to Guildmaster for conducting such a fun and rewarding contest that not only challenged our design abilities but benefited our local community as well! We would also like to thank our design team who put together an absolutely fabulous Parisian-inspired room!
