Honoring Heirloom Quality

It is pretty rare these days to find wood furniture {casegoods} still fully constructed in the United States. As more Americans refuse to pay the additional cost for high quality, American-made furniture, our manufacturers are forced to move production overseas to cut costs and stay afloat in this poor economy. Hopefully many of our readers have made efforts to purchase American-made as they realize this has caused the loss of American jobs.

This past week we celebrated our Independence as a nation, and what better way to commemorate our freedom than to commend those who work to support our local economy!

Habersham has always been one of my favorites. Fully built in North Georgia, their well-known, elegant Old World style is absolutely stunning. Their furniture is crafted of solid wood and built to last from generation to generation. In a disposable-minded society, it is refreshing to find furniture with this heirloom quality, attention to detail, and customization options. With their new American Treasures collection you can achieve a more transitional style with that same level of quality and impressive appearance.
