It has been said that we should sleep 1/3 of our lives, and in some cases more. 24 hours divided by three is eight hours a day. If we sleep less than that, our bodies cannot perform at their best. We feel tired, and sometimes we even think our memory is slipping! In most cases not getting enough rest is due to tossing and turning most of the night, not being able to find that comfortable spot that we once had when the mattress was new.
We tend to be so proud of that sofa or comfortable sectional in the living room that we spent $3000.00 on–that is used maybe three or four hours a day–but ironically we don’t think about spending that much for a mattress that we spend eight hours or more on per day. We need to ask ourselves what is more important, being comfortable while watching a movie or sleeping through the night and getting restorative rest to recharge us for the next day.
In today’s market we have so many different mattresses to choose from that we can sometimes get confused as to what to buy. If you’re on the hunt for a mattress, you may have tried out so many different versions that they all feel the same. But there is a solution!
We have just opened a new gallery called Sleepland at Furnitureland South, where we have the latest and most advanced products in the rapidly growing mattress market: anything from an adjustable bed with latex or memory foam to a traditional mattress with springs–or a combination of both! I will be happy to assist you and eliminate the confusion to help you to find your perfect comfort level and the right manufacturer to give you the feel you need to have a great night’s sleep for the next 8 -10 years.
Remember to wear something comfortable and not too tight to test a mattress. Wearing clothes that are restrictive can have an influence on the way the mattress may feel. In order to find the correct mattress you need to lie down on it and actually try to find that “spot” that has vanished from your life. You deserve a good night’s sleep, and you will be a much happier person when you do.
Stop by Sleepland and see me for your next adventure in finding the perfect mattress for your home.
