Furnitureland South is excited to be featured on Animal Planet’s hit series “Tanked” on Saturday, April 28, at 9 pm (ET/PT). Watch as brothers-in-law Wayde King and Brett Raymer, co-owners of Acrylic Tank Manufacturing, the largest aquarium manufacturing company in the nation, create an incredible 650-gallon headboard tank that is currently on display in the new entrance of Sleepland at Furnitureland South!

What is Sleepland, you may ask? It’s the newest addition to the Furnitureland South campus, and we just happen to be holding its grand opening on the day that Tanked airs! Sleepland will offer a new experience for mattress shoppers, focused on the health benefits of sleep and creating a serene, relaxing atmosphere for mattress shopping.
Customers who visit Furnitureland South on Friday and Saturday will be able to register for mattress giveaways, which will take place all day Saturday. Also, be sure to visit Furnitureland South’s Facebook page during every commercial break of the Tanked episode to answer trivia questions about what is happening on the show. All correct answers will enter the participant into a drawing to win a set of these luxurious Belle Epoque 420 thread count sheets!

How much did the headboard tank cost?
Hi Martin. This was a unique collaborative project with ATM building and installing a 600 gallon tank and Furnitureland South designing and constructing custom millwork. We don’t currently have a price on this bed, but would be glad to quote a custom bed aquarium for you!
